Jackie Daniels

Jacquelyn Daniels is a seasoned policy advocate and financial professional currently working at Sandy Hook Promise. Jackie’s top priorities include auditing broken developer agreements, promoting smart and inclusive economic development, and protecting renters from displacement. She supports participatory budgeting, caps on rent increases, and developer accountability. Her background includes student government leadership, volunteer racial justice work, and budget management. Jackie proposes multilingual communication, community engagement hubs, and tech-driven transparency tools to connect residents with city governance and improve trust among constituents.

She serves as the Chair of the Ansonia Democratic Town Committee and as an Alderwoman of the First Ward.  Daniels is a proud Charger and graduate of Ansonia High School.
